Contents of the capsule: Loading agent: Calcium phosphate dibasic, Pennywort (Asian Pennywort), dry leaf extract 20% in total terpenes as Asiaticoside (pennywort, maltodextrin), Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) , dry extract of bark 15% in total triterpenoid glycosides such as escin (horse chestnut, maltodextrin), Capsicum (Capsicum annuum L.), fruit powder, Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) dry leaf extract 7% in acids caffeoylquinic acid (artichoke, maltodextrin), Garcinia (Garcinia cambogia desr.) dry fruit extract 60% in hydroxycitric acid (Garcinia, maltodextrin), anti-binder agents; magnesium stearate, Talc, silicon dioxide.
Bellen is a food supplement in capsules and is made from vegetable extracts of five medicinal plants. It includes: Centella Asiatica, Horse Chestnut, Capsicum, Artichoke and Garcinia cambogia. Each one of these plants has a specific function in order to help and improve physiological purification of our organism. Centella Asiatica, whose leaves are used, combats the imperfections of cellulite and stimulates functionality of microcirculation, therefore it acts, for example, on the heaviness of legs when standing for a long time and in the case of swelling and water retention. Horse chestnut, whose bark is used, is useful to regularise bowel transit as it stimulates the digestive system. Capsicum, a fruit extract, whose common name is Hot Pepper, stimulates the metabolism and most of all it acts as an antioxidant par excellence, its antioxidant activities in Bellen have been assessed using the Orac test. The Orac test is an increasingly growing method used to assess the antioxidant action of food and supplements. Bellen provides approximately 2,400 Orac units per gram of product, one tenth of daily intake. The antioxidant activities of the extract used in our supplement are equivalent to twice the value of the dehydrated fruit and twenty times that of fresh fruit (ref. CyTA Journal of Food). Another important ingredient is the Artichoke, caffeoylquinic acids, Artichoke, whose leaves are used, acts most of all on the purification functions of the organism, it can almost be defined as a cellular regenerative element. Finally it includes Garcinia Cambogia, hydroxycitric acid, useful for balance of body weight and control of the feeling of hunger. The Bellen capsules are also gluten free and without added sugar. The scientific work on the Bellen capsules carried out by the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Internal Medicine Division, Department of Medicine of Systems, is based on 3 capsules per day for 5 weeks on 30 patients. The study was presented to the National SIMFER Congress of Florence in September 2019 and at the ALAMMU Congress of Montesilvano in May 2019. The study highlights an improvement in haematic toxicity and most importantly, the parameters of body composition, monitored through bioimpedance, with a reduction in resistance, an increase in total body water, an increase in fat free mass and a reduction in the fat mass.
